The MarcDown Report started publishing in 2009 as a forum to discuss a variety of current events within the political, economic and modern culture arenas. Marc posts his own views on many issues as well as links to articles he found interesting or enlightening. Marc is a former hedge fund analyst as well as a publishing Wall Street Research Analyst covering the Retail & Consumer Products sectors for fixed income institutional investors. Prior to moving into a research role, Marc was an investment banker at a bulge bracket firm working on a variety of M&A and financing transactions. He received an MBA from Cornell University and a BA in English Literature from Pepperdine University.
